What to inspect: the third data row repeats the first exactly; the fourth is missing a status. This does not prove either order should be removed.

COMMON PRE-IMPORT ISSUES

Small CSV problems create expensive questions.

Exact repeated rows

Spot rows where the full set of values is identical. This is not the same as detecting duplicate order IDs when line items or statuses differ.

Missing order fields

Find blank cells that deserve investigation before analysis or re-import. Empty does not automatically mean wrong.

Export structure

Review detected columns and numeric fields in common comma-, semicolon- or tab-separated CSV files. No accountancy or tax certification is provided.

SAFE FOUR-STEP WORKFLOW

How a small store can check a CSV export.

  1. Export the CSV from your authorized order system and keep a copy of the original.
  2. Open MicroVault's free checker and choose a CSV under 2 MB, or test with the built-in sample.
  3. Review the number of exact duplicate rows, empty cells and basic structural findings; export the free summary if helpful.
  4. Ask the order-data owner before editing, merging or deleting records. Re-run the scan on a separately approved copy.

FREQUENT QUESTIONS

What this tool does — and does not — promise.

Will MicroVault detect that two different rows share one order number?

Not necessarily. The basic check identifies exactly identical data rows. The same order ID can legitimately occur in multiple line items or lifecycle events, so check your order system's business rules separately.

Does MicroVault alter my order export?

No. The scanner does not automatically delete, merge or modify source CSV records. Save an original and make any authorized corrections separately.

Is the free check really free?

Yes. The initial browser-based CSV check and basic summary do not require signup or a paid subscription. The €5 and €29 reports are optional one-time purchases.

Can I check customer data?

Only if you are authorized to do so. The CSV content is analyzed locally in your browser, but your business remains responsible for its applicable privacy and security rules.
